To celebrate the launch of Lance Morcan’s suspense thriller One Witness Too Many, the novel is free on Kindle this weekend October 10/11 and again on October 17, 24 and 31.
One glance. A face glimpsed through a store window. A killer who now knows exactly what she looks like.
Auckland IT specialist Nessa Carter has finally put her life back together. After being jilted by her fiancé on the eve of their wedding, she’s newly single, newly confident, and ready to face the world again.
Then an after-hours detour past a closed jewellery store changes everything. Through the store’s glass door, she witnesses a robbery that turns to murder — and in one heart-stopping moment, the killer’s eyes lock on hers.
He flees, leaving no fingerprints, no usable CCTV footage, no other witnesses. Only Nessa.
