Membership of our ‘Underground Knowledge’ discussion group on the popular author/reader/literary site Goodreads.com has now topped 550 and boasts some extremely knowledgeable members from all walks of life. More members are welcome! (Membership is free and open).
The group’s membership is a dynamic melting pot of leaders in their chosen fields, including neuroscientists, journalists, university professors, mathematicians, beat poets, historians, physicists, renowned authors, aerospace engineers, students and doctors. Plus we’ve got many social activists and gutsy whistleblowers who have in some cases risked their lives so that we all may continue to enjoy the freedoms in society we take for granted.
One of our new members is award winning journalist, Pulitzer Prize-nominated author and attorney Gerald Posner who has a new book about to be published. Titled God’s Bankers: A History of Money and Power at the Vatican, it has spanned nine years of research and has received early critical praise.

We are so-called Moderators of the Underground Knowledge group, but we are moderators in name only as it’s a group without rules (uh-oh!)…so…as we say to newcomers…welcome to the asylum!

You may notice in these discussions that (usually calm) members are losing their cool left, right and center (including us at times!) and it’s kinda fun to read such heated debates and sense everyone’s passion! Most tend to assume they are right, but probably we each only have scraps of knowledge that we are mistaking for absolute truths…
Everyone comes at things from their own unique angles and puts different perspectives on the various topics, but all perspectives are valid and worth listening to.
