Imagine for a moment a reality where all the technologies that futurists have predicted have already been invented and are currently being used by a privileged few.

There have been numerous reports of scientific inventions that never saw the light of day even though they were perfected and ready to go on the market. Rumors of these radical inventions date back to the post-Industrial Revolution period in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, and have persisted right up to and including the present day.

We devote an entire chapter and more to this topic in our new release book THE ORPHAN CONSPIRACIES: 29 Conspiracy Theories from The Orphan Trilogy. Our exhaustive research revealed that most secret technologies are rumored to be based on the works of the brilliant Croatian-born Serbian-American scientist Nikola Tesla (1856-1943).

Here’s an excerpt from the book:

An inventor, physicist and electrical engineer, he (Tesla) is surely history’s most underrated scientist. In fact, when researching suppressed science, it often seems as if all roads lead back to the man who was nicknamed the Electric Magician. To attempt to verify the Splinter Civilization’s existence and ultimately understand its nature, we all must first comprehend what Tesla achieved in his eventful lifetime, including his tragic last few years.

https://i0.wp.com/themindunleashed.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/nikolaaa.jpg

Nikola Tesla…aka the Electric Magician.

In terms of official science, he is probably best known for designing the modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system as well as his theoretical work used in the invention of radio communication. He’s also referred to by many as the godfather of wireless technology, having first demonstrated wireless energy transmission in 1891.

After migrating to the US, Tesla worked for light bulb inventor Thomas Edison and fellow inventor George Westinghouse before branching out on his own. He began conducting more radical experiments involving remote-controlled devices, artificial lightning and thunder, early X-Ray testing, robotics, electric cars and lasers, and he even investigated whether it was possible to collect vast amounts of energy from the earth’s atmosphere.

As revolutionary as Tesla’s known inventions and experiments sound, it’s his long-rumored suppressed inventions that have spawned countless conspiracy theories. Claims surrounding him include everything from perfecting free-energy technologies to being responsible for the mysterious 1908 Tunguska explosion in Siberia.

Tesla’s high-frequency power experiments are also said to be the scientific foundations of HAARP, a controversial military-funded research program. (Read more on HAARP later in this chapter).

During his later years, between the First and Second World Wars, Tesla worked on a directed-energy weapon (DEW) he called a teleforce gun. 21st Century researchers now refer to this device as the Tesla Death Ray. Many believe it was stolen and used by the military; and many believe it remains in use today – possibly in a more advanced form.

The Tesla Death Ray…stolen?

As per one of his theses currently stored in the Nikola Tesla Museum, in Belgrade, Serbia, the inventor described his DEW device as being a “superweapon that would put an end to all war.” He also said it could stop fleets of airplanes and entire armies dead in their tracks.

Tesla claimed he was spied on by the US War Department as well as agencies of the Soviet Union and various European nations as a result of this fantastical invention. Decades later, Tesla’s Death Ray and other works were referenced in a weapon patent taken out by Columbia Universty and MIT-educated physicist Dr. Bernard Eastlund.

As much of Tesla’s material is no longer available to the public, it’s impossible to prove or disprove his most radical science. Certainly his overall career is barely studied at learning institutions today and he is not held in the same high regard as scientists like Newton or Einstein. This despite Tesla obtaining approximately 300 patents worldwide for his inventions of such diverse things as alternating current generators, fluorescent lights, exotic power systems and even flying machines.

Whatever the case, there’s enough evidence to conclude Tesla was hounded by the energy power brokers – Edison and American financier J.P. Morgan in particular – of the late 19th and early 20th Centuries. These figures recognized Tesla’s technologies as a serious threat to their financial empires and, in Edison’s case, to his scientific legacy as well.

When Tesla died in 1943, the US Government confiscated all his research material and immediately classified much of it. However, in recent years, through the Freedom of Information Act, some of that research has been declassified, leading to a resurgence of interest in Tesla.

Various independent investigators and freelance scientists claim they can identify irrefutable connections between Tesla’s inventions and the most advanced technologies used by the military today.

“As an eminent pioneer in the realm of high frequency currents… I congratulate you on the great successes of your life’s work.” –Albert Einstein, in a letter to Tesla for his 75th birthday in 1931.

In 1942, US General Douglas MacArthur was forced to leave the Philippines as the nation was overrun by Japanese. MacArthur told journalists, “I shall return.”

Over 10,000 American troops stationed in the Pacific had already surrendered to the Japanese and MacArthur had been left without any reinforcements. Fearing for his general’s safety, President Roosevelt had ordered him to leave the Philippines.

MacArthur’s famous words I shall return meant a lot to the Filipino people who clung to the hope they’d eventually reclaim their freedom.

In October, 1944, after leading a series of strategically brilliant air and sea attacks against Japanese forces, General MacArthur stood on Philippine soil once more. “I have returned,” he told emotional Filipinos who had not forgotten his promise.

“I have returned.” – General MacArthur.

Unfortunately, like most fairy tales spun during wartime, the true motivations in MacArthur’s case were probably not quite as straightforward or innocent as they appeared to be.

We shed some light on this – and on Japanese war booty known as ‘Yamashita’s Gold’ hidden in the Philippines during WW2 – in our new release book THE ORPHAN CONSPIRACIES: 29 Conspiracy Theories from The Orphan Trilogy.

Here’s an excerpt from the book:

He (MacArthur) did return after leading the Allies to defeat the Japanese and kick them out of the Philippines. However, MacArthur may have been so keen to return to collect the riches he knew the Japanese had concealed all over the rugged island nation.

It is said that Charles Willoughby, the general’s Chief of Intelligence, had earlier in the war found evidence of the vast treasures buried throughout the Philippines.According to this theory, Willoughby and his staff had confirmed there were almost 200 Yamashita sites throughout the Philippines, including the all-important Trillion Yen sites.

General Yamashita

General Tomoyuki Yamashita.

Various independent researchers have concluded that MacArthur worked closely with the CIA immediately after WW2. Their goal: to locate and retrieve as many of the Yamashita treasure hoards as possible.

Among those independent researchers are prolific authors Sterling Seagrave and Peggy Seagrave who wrote in their 2003 book Gold Warriors: America’s Secret Recovery of Yamashita’s Gold that General MacArthur “used war loot to create a trust fund for Hirohito at Sanwa Bank” and “also set up the secret M-Fund”.

‘Gold Warriors’ investigates Yamashita’s Gold.

The Seagraves go into convincing detail about the evidence they apparently uncovered, proving MacArthur’s post-WW2 success in secretly recovering the bulk of Yamashita’s Gold for America. The authors also mention MacArthur’s right-hand man Charles Willoughby who they say“paid war criminals to rewrite history and manipulate Japan’s government,” immediately after the war as part of the covert operation.

Not so much conspiracy theory as conspiracy fact.

******************************************************

A book critic who reviewed our conspiracy thriller novel The Ninth Orphan criticized our protagonist for having an IQ, or intelligence quotient, higher than Einstein’s. The strong implication in the review was that this was a ridiculous character decision we (the authors) had made.

That all sounds like a valid criticism on the surface, but had this critic gone beyond his own sphere of knowledge and done a little research he would have discovered there are many people whose IQ’s have been recorded to be higher than Einstein’s. American author Marilyn Vos Savant, for example, has an IQ of 192; Russian chess grandmaster and former world champion Garry Kasparov has an IQ of 194. Incidentally, Einstein’s IQ was estimated in the 1920’s to between 160 and 190.

Einstein 1921 by F Schmutzer.jpg

Albert Einstein and Marilyn Vos Savant.

But wait, there’s much more when it comes to the world of super geniuses – as we discovered when researching our new release book THE ORPHAN CONSPIRACIES: 29 Conspiracy Theories from The Orphan Trilogy. Here’s an excerpt from the book…

Quite a few individuals have tested in excess of a 200 IQ score, including South Korean civil engineer Kim Ung-yong (210), former child prodigy and former NASA employee Christopher Hirata (225) and Australian mathematician Terence Tao (225-230).

And last but not least is American child prodigy, mathematician and politician William James Sidis who had an IQ of 250-300. He graduated grammar school at age six, went to Harvard University at age 11 and graduated cum laude at the age of 16. Sidis, who died in 1944, could fluently speak 40 languages by the time he reached adulthood.

William James Sidis 1914.jpg

Child prodigy William Sidis…IQ 250-300.

Remember, the average IQ is 100 and approximately 50% of those tested score between 90 and 110. According to the book IQ and the Wealth of Nations by Dr. Richard Lynn and Dr. Tatu Vanhanen, the top five countries in terms of average IQ’s of their citizens are Hong Kong (107), South Korea (106), Japan (105), Taiwan (104) and Singapore (103). Further down the list, China, New Zealand and the UK share equal 12th position with a 100 average, while the US is in 19th position with an average citizen IQ of 98.

However, many scholars in the 21st Century now believe IQ scores aren’t everything and it’s likely areas of intelligence exist that cannot be measured in any test. This is possibly substantiated by the number of successful and iconic individuals who recorded very low IQ scores. These include the once highly articulate and outspoken boxer Muhammad Ali who, as a young man, scored only 78 – an IQ so low it supposedly denotes a mild mental disability!

And of course, the list of the world’s so-called most intelligent excludes extremely bright individuals in impoverished parts of the world where IQ’s are rarely tested. The Indian mathematical genius, Srinivasa Ramanujan (1887-1920), was an example of such incredible geniuses who defy all explanation.

Srinivasa Ramanujan - OPC - 1.jpg

Srinivasa Ramanujan…changed the face of mathematics.

Born into poverty in Erode, India, Ramanujan discovered extraordinary mathematical formulas, despite being self-taught with no formal training in mathematics. He changed the face of mathematics as we know it and left many highly-educated and acclaimed Western mathematicians completely gobsmacked.

Furthermore, the other high-IQ individuals mentioned earlier are only in the top bracket of those who agreed to undergo IQ tests and allow their scores to be published. It’s quite conceivable certain elite individuals belonging to secret societies, mystery schools or intelligence agencies do not reveal their IQ scores. That secret intelligence factor was the basis for our fictional Pedemont orphans who we either state or imply have IQ’s of around 200 or higher.

As a result of the accelerated learning techniques within the diverse curriculum that begins before they can even walk or talk, the orphans can assimilate and retain phenomenal amounts of information. By their teens, the child prodigies possess greater amounts of knowledge than even adult geniuses. They are able to solve complex problems, are fully knowledgeable about almost any current world subject or historical event, and are to all intents and purposes organic supercomputers and human library databases.

Again, our orphans are exposed to highly advanced learning methods so that they will have at their disposal all the necessary skills and information to be able to overcome life-and-death problems that may arise on future espionage assignments. They’re taught there is no challenge or question that cannot be overcome, solved or answered as long as they fully utilize the power of their minds.

Each child at the Pedemont Orphanage eventually becomes a polymath – a person who is beyond a genius. It’s a word we use throughout the trilogy as we felt it best describes the orphans’ off-the-scale intellects.

A polymath is actually a multiple-subject genius. However, the criteria for a polymath is someone who is an expert in vastly different, almost unrelated fields. For example, an artist who works in the film, theatre and literary industries and who is a masterful actor, screenwriter, novelist, film director and film producer would not qualify as a polymath as those fields are all artistic mediums and closely related.

Rather, a polymath is someone who has excelled in, or completely mastered, a variety of unrelated or loosely related subjects. These could be as diverse as economics, dance, architecture, mathematics, history, forensic science, cooking and entomology.

And before you go calling yourself a polymath, don’t forget you must be an expert in each field. Unfortunately being a jack-of-all-trades and master-of-none doesn’t count.

One of the best examples of a polymath is Leonardo da Vinci. Born in Italy in 1452, he was a sculptor, painter, architect, mathematician, musician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, botanist, geologist, cartographer and writer. Although Leonardo received an informal education that included geometry, Latin and mathematics, he was essentially an autodidact, or a self-taught individual.

Francesco Melzi - Portrait of Leonardo - WGA14795.jpg

Leonardo…polymath extraordinaire.

The man who many have called the most diversely talented person who ever lived, left behind an array of masterpieces in the painting world alone, including The Last Supper, Mona Lisa and The Vitruvian Man.

The Last Supper…another Leonardo masterpiece.

Less than six months before he was assassinated, President Kennedy had begun formulating a new Federal Reserve Act, which many say would have restored the US Federal Reserve to a fully-fledged US Government bank.

John F. Kennedy, White House photo portrait, looking up.jpg

President Kennedy went after the Fed.

A little-known Presidential decree – Executive Order 11110 – was signed by Kennedy on June 4, 1963. It would have deprived the Federal Reserve of its ability to loan money to the Government at interest. By signing the document, President Kennedy was attempting to put an end to the Fed – or at least the Fed as we know it.

Without going into the specifics of Executive Order 11110, it arguably could have stopped the US from reaching its record-level national debt.

Seven theses on the present crisis - João Bernardo

Instead, JFK was assassinated as we all know. But what is less known is the United States Notes the President had issued as part of the executive order – notes which were designed to replace the Federal Reserve Notes – were immediately taken out of circulation.

To this very day, the Federal Reserve Notes remain in circulation as the currency all Americans use.

And, of course, what also remained post JFK was a central bank only nominally under the Government’s control.

We provide an illuminating snapshot of the history of central banking in the US and the evolution of the Fed in our new release book…

The Bilderberg Group, that invitation-only organization whose membership reads like a veritable roll call of the global elite and whose annual conferences for the most part remain mysteriously off the record, is not the only secretive outfit worthy of close scrutiny. The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) also deserves investigation.

CFR is another elitist organization which operates in almost total secrecy. Among its most famous members are Joe Biden, George Soros, George H.W. Bush, Richard Branson, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Rupert Murdoch, Oprah Winfrey and Angelina Jolie.

5.3.10RichardBransonByDavidShankbone.jpg Angelina Jolie - Ministry of Foreign Affairs 2012 (12) (headshot).jpg

Sir Richard Branson and Angelina Jolie…CFR members.

We shed some light on CFR’s membership and activities in our new release book THE ORPHAN CONSPIRACIES: 29 Conspiracy Theories from The Orphan Trilogy. Here’s an excerpt…

It should be noted that many members of the Council on Foreign Relations have also attended Bilderberg conferences and the two organizations are apparently closely aligned…

…We are reminded of a line in the 2000 feature film The Skulls, which perfectly encapsulates our assessment of organizations like the Bilderberg Group and the CFR: “If it’s secret and elite, it can’t be good.”

People come up with all kinds of reasons to justify clandestine activities. Some say the masses are not smart enough and need wise old men to covertly influence voters. Others argue knights of the round table-style groups are needed to ensure the ill-informed public are not allowed to have too much power.

But however the invisible power players spin things, the truth is supporters of such elitist groups are deceiving themselves and others with such justifications.

The bottom line is: Any time a secret group usurps the collective will of the people, it’s wrong. Period.

Primary image for The Skulls

Blockbuster movie likened to real-life secret organizations.

One small confirmation of the dangers of secretive and elitist organizations comes from within police forces in the US and UK, and relates to Freemasonry. Senior American and British police chiefs have gone on the record recommending that police officers should not be permitted to join any Masonic lodge. The police chiefs concerned invariably cited fears that Freemason police officers would have conflicts of interest. That’s to say officers may at times put the interests of Freemasonry ahead of their police work.

Such dangers are obviously magnified a hundredfold when it comes to high ranking politicians being members of unaccountable organizations like the Bilderberg Group and the CFR.

******************************************************

In the course of conducting research for our conspiracy thriller series The Orphan Trilogy we uncovered the little known history of mind control. And it’s something of a long, spooky rabbit hole to say the least.

mind-control2_banner

After reading and analyzing court cases, doctors’ reports and declassified documents, we became aware of the often disastrous impact mind control programs have had on the lives of innocent civilians over the decades – in North America in particular.

cagey

The most documented government mind control program worldwide is Project MK-Ultra. This human research operation in behavioral engineering began in the early 1950’s and was run through the CIA’s Scientific Intelligence Division. It continued for a quarter of a century, and it used American and Canadian citizens as its test subjects, usually without their knowledge or consent.

We explore this further in our new release book THE ORPHAN CONSPIRACIES: 29 Conspiracy Theories from The Orphan Trilogy. An excerpt follows…

Doctor Sidney Gottlieb was in charge of MK-Ultra from its inception until the mid-1960’s. By all accounts a callous and eccentric individual, Gottlieb was the inspiration for Peter Sellers’ title role in Stanley Kubrick’s 1964 black comedy Dr. Strangelove.

Still of Peter Sellers in Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb

Peter Sellers as Dr. Strangelove.

Many researchers have deduced that the CIA’s goal was to create real-life Manchurian Candidates. We’d have to agree, although there are probably wider applications of effective mind control than producing programmed assassins.

As a result of the United States’ Freedom of Information Act, tens of thousands of government documents relating to Project MK-Ultra have been obtained by independent researchers. Other documents regarding MK-Ultra have also been officially declassified.

The project finally came to the American public’s attention in 1975 when it was discussed in the US Congress.

President Gerald Ford also set up a commission to investigate MK-Ultra and other CIA activities. This led to Senate hearings on MK-Ultra in 1977 during which Senator Ted Kennedy stated: “The Deputy Director of the CIA revealed that over 30 universities and institutions were involved in an extensive testing and experimentation program which included covert drug tests on unwitting citizens at all social levels, high and low, native Americans and foreign.”

Seemingly following the same mind control protocols laid down by the Nazis, the CIA selected people from the most vulnerable sectors of American society to experiment on – orphans, the mentally ill, prisoners, the poor, the handicapped. Basically those who didn’t have a voice or the wherewithal to seek help.

Two young victims of the Nazi era.

CIA doctors involved in MK-Ultra experiments incorporated various methods to manipulate people’s brains and alter their mental states. These included disruptive electromagnetic signals, sensory deprivation, hypnosis, electroshock, sexual abuse and drugs, especially LSD.

Equally disturbing, the list of infamous people connected to, or rumored to be associated with, MK-Ultra almost reads like a who’s who of the worst American criminals in the 20th Century.

Lawrence Teeter, the lawyer representing Robert F. Kennedy’s assassin, Sirhan Sirhan, proposed that his client was an MK-Ultra victim. Teeter stated Sirhan displayed all the signs of being hypnotized before and after RFK’s assassination.

Enough evidence exists to conclude that Theodore Kaczynski, otherwise known as the Unabomber, participated in MK-Ultra experiments conducted at Harvard University from 1959 to 1962. Although these Harvard experiments appeared relatively benign, they were surreptitiously sponsored by the CIA and that seems tantamount to a smoking gun.

Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh – a decorated Gulf War veteran – claimed to have been implanted with some kind of microchip while serving in the US Army. He also claimed he was yet another victim of MK-Ultra’s vast web.

McVeigh mugshot.jpg

Timothy McVeigh…also mind-controlled?

Interestingly, the US Army Major and mind control victim that Denzel Washington played in the 2004 remake of The Manchurian Candidate also had a microchip implanted in his body. Perhaps in a case of art imitating life, Washington’s character was also a decorated Gulf War veteran who served in Operation Desert Storm, just as McVeigh did.

The Manchurian Candidate 2004

Denzel Washington in ‘The Manchurian Candidate’.

The 1978 Jonestown massacre in the jungles of Guyana is considered by various independent investigators to have been a large scale MK-Ultra experiment. Until 9/11, the Jonestown tragedy had the dubious distinction of being the greatest loss of American civilian lives in one single act. (See more on Jonestown in chapter 10).

There are also possible MK-Ultra links to Ronald Reagan’s would-be assassin John Hinkley, Jr., as well as John Lennon’s killer Mark David Chapman. Suspiciously, a copy of The Catcher in the Rye was found on both men upon their arrest – suspicious as J.D. Salinger’s classic novel is said by many to be a mind control trigger device for MK-Ultra victims. (See chapter 27 for more on The Catcher in the Rye).

In 1976, more than two decades after MK-Ultra began, President Gerald Ford prohibited “experimentation with drugs on human subjects, except with the informed consent, in writing and witnessed by a disinterested party, of each such human subject.”

However, repeated rumors suggest the MK-Ultra program continues – probably under another codename and perhaps as a Black Op rather than a government-sanctioned project.

For example, some say mind control technologies were employed during the First Gulf War on Saddam Hussein’s million-strong Iraq army. This theory suggests the US army unleashed a type of advanced mind interference weapon so that Iraqi soldiers would lose their sanity and therefore surrender without much resistance or bloodshed. Although the Iraq army did surrender relatively quickly and there were reports of unusual goings on, it must be noted this Gulf War theory is not remotely proven and remains mere speculation.

iraqissurrendering

Iraqi POW’s in the Gulf War…Insane?

At the civilian level, more MK-Ultra victims continue to come forward. In 1995, there were new US congressional hearings on MK-Ultra, which included statements made by mind control victims and the therapists who treated them.

The rumors persist that 9/11 was an inside job: bombs, not planes, leveled Twin Towers; inside traders knew about the 9/11 attacks before they happened; Air Defense was ordered to stand down etc. etc.

Image of Twin Towers on September 11th 2001

As the rumor mill continues to churn out theories on what happened on that unforgettable day in 2001, we are reminded of an incident in US history that could have resulted in the officially sanctioned murders of countless American citizens.

The incident we refer to is ‘Operation Northwoods’ – an especially murky episode in American history. It features prominently in the very first chapter of our new release book THE ORPHAN CONSPIRACIES: 29 Conspiracy Theories from The Orphan Trilogy. Here’s an excerpt:

In 1962, the US Government’s Department of Defense and Joint Chiefs of Staff proposed carrying out acts of terrorism on American soil to justify military intervention in Cuba.

Hard to swallow or believe, we know, but it’s on the record. Numerous military and intelligence documents recording these disturbing false flag proposals, known as Operation Northwoods, have since been declassified.

Operation Northwoods remained a secret for 35 years. The sinister proposal first came to the public’s attention in November 1997 when The John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Review Board declassified various top secret military records, which included the Northwoods documents. The following year, the National Security Archive published further revealing information on Northwoods.

A (since declassified) ‘Top Secret’ memo dated March 13, 1962, addressed to the Secretary of Defense and signed by then-Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff makes for interesting reading. Its subject line reads: Justification for US Military Intervention in Cuba.

Item No. 1 on that memo reads: “The Joint Chiefs of Staff have considered the attached Memorandum for the Chief of Operations, Cuba Project, which responds to a request of that office for brief but precise description of pretexts which would provide justification for US military intervention in Cuba.”

Operation Northwoods’ plans included the sinking of US war ships, shooting down hijacked passenger planes, killing innocent American citizens, letting off bombs and orchestrating other violent terrorist acts in major cities including Washington DC and Miami.

Every event would be blamed on Fidel Castro and the Cuban regime. The Joint Chiefs of Staff’s logic was that these events would help gain enough support from the American public and the world at large for a US military invasion of Cuba.

Fortunately, President Kennedy immediately rejected the Northwoods proposal and fired one of its main proponents, Lyman Lemnitzer, who was then Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

President Kennedy with his Joint Chiefs of Staff incl. Lemnizter (third from left).

The following year, Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, while Lemnitzer was appointed Supreme Allied Commander of NATO.

Go figure!

In his 2001 book Body of Secrets, US political journalist and bestselling author James Bamford wrote that Operation Northwoods “called for innocent people to be shot on American streets; for boats carrying refugees fleeing Cuba to be sunk on the high seas; for a wave of violent terrorism to be launched in Washington, D.C., Miami, and elsewhere. People would be framed for bombings they did not commit; planes would be hijacked. Using phony evidence, all of it would be blamed on Castro, thus giving Lemnitzer and his cabal the excuse, as well as the public and international backing, they needed to launch their war”.

Sadly, Bamford is one of the few well-known political commentators to write about Operation Northwoods. When the documents were declassification in 1997, they were almost universally ignored by the media.

Apparently on-the-record discussions within the US Government about murdering its own citizens as propaganda to create a war were not deemed newsworthy.

***********************************************************

As the dust settles in Afghanistan (kind of) and tensions simmer in the Ukraine and America deliberates on what to do about the situ. in Iraq, we are reminded that to create wars there don’t need to be any genuine enemies, only perceived enemies. If enough citizens believe their national security’s in jeopardy then politicians who propose wars will receive the support they need.

Governments have known this for a very long time, and manufacturing consent to go to war – à la False Flag Operations – ain’t new.

Take Vietnam for example… In our new release book THE ORPHAN CONSPIRACIES: 29 Conspiracy Theories from The Orphan Trilogy, we highlight the false flag that began the Vietnam War. Here’s an excerpt…

On August 4, 1964, President Lyndon Johnson alerted his fellow Americans on national television that North Vietnam had attacked the American destroyer USS Maddox in the Gulf of Tonkin.

Not long after, Congress passed the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution, which gave Johnson the green light to begin military operations against North Vietnam. American troops were soon stationed in Vietnam and neighboring countries, and the war that would dominate an era began.

However, President Johnson and his Secretary of Defense, Robert McNamara, successfully hoodwinked the American people because North Vietnam never attacked the USS Maddox as the Pentagon had claimed, and the so-called unequivocal evidence of a second attack by the North Vietnamese is now commonly acknowledged as being a false report.

A National Security Agency (NSA) report on the Gulf of Tonkin Incident, declassified in 2005, concluded that USS Maddox had engaged the North Vietnamese Navy on August 2, 1964, but (and this is a big but) “The Maddox fired three rounds to warn off the communist boats. This initial action was never reported by the Johnson administration, which insisted that the Vietnamese boats fired first.”

Regarding the all-important second attack on August 4 – which effectively caused the Vietnam War – the NSA report concluded there were no North Vietnamese Naval vessels present during the entire incident: “It is not simply that there is a different story as to what happened; it is that no attack happened that night.”

Tonkingunboats.jpg

“No attack happened.” – NSA report on Gulf of Tonkin incident.

If an organization as biased as the NSA says no attack ever happened then it seems very safe to say the Gulf of Tonkin Incident was nothing but a phantom attack on the US Military. It was carefully crafted propaganda devised to manufacture consent for all-out war.

In this instance that propaganda ended up costing approximately 60,000 American lives and three million Vietnamese lives.

Not so much conspiracy theory as conspiracy fact.

In the latest Amazon review for THE ORPHAN CONSPIRACIES: 29 Conspiracy Theories from The Orphan Trilogy, Connecticut reviewer ‘Cyrano1db’ describes it as an eye-opener and refers to lessons “we” (Americans) should have learned.

Here’s the review (unabridged):

If you were born in the ’20’s, 30’s of even 40’s you know that the country in which we were brought up no longer exists. We should have learned our lesson from the findings of the Vietnam war, but we were hyped up again by our leaders by constant warnings about Iraq’s “Weapons of Mass Destruction.” George W. Bush stole a presidential election (with the help of the Supreme Court) and proceeded to trample the Constitution. Obama promised correction but has not only continued the Bush mess, but has almost eliminated the middle class in America and continues to spy on all citizens. A walk through these 29 Conspiracy Theories is the eye opener we all need. The book is a terrific read, but more importantly, it starts one to thinking (and wondering). It’s a page-turner you won’t be able to put down.

The early reviews are in for our new release non-fiction book The Orphan Conspiracies – and here’s what Amazon reviewer ‘Cloud’ has to say:

Conspiracy Lovers Dream 5stars2

I’m not sure how to put this, but this book is one that might scare the pants off of you. You’re immediately hit with the depth of research, facts that on their own might not have amounted to much, but before long any skepticism you have starts to fade away and you’re left with the sinking feeling that there are secret forces operating with extensive control throughout the world.

If you’re anything like me, you’ll find the theories covered here perfect for social chatter and you’ll be recommending the book all over. Just one point of caution. Don’t spill everything you’ve learned. If they think you know too much, that’s when the vans will come for you.

‘Cloud’ appears to have gotten what we set out to achieve when we penned this book, which, incidentally, is our first non-fiction book. As we say in the book’s Introduction:

Our mission in writing this book is twofold: to expose the global agenda designed to keep the power in the hands of a select few (the top 1%) and to empower the masses with essential knowledge that’s been withheld from them until now.

From what we’ve observed, nearly all other conspiracy theory books have either been by established conspiracy theory authors and written almost exclusively for like-minded people, or they’ve been penned by academic-types with a high-brow intellectualism that only other academics can decipher.

This book, on the other hand, is written for the lower classes and the homeless, the outcasts and the marginalized, the abused and the victimized, the unpaid and the underpaid, the overworked and the out-of-work, the refugees and the poor, the uneducated and the undereducated, the forgotten and the lonely, the misunderstood and all the other underdogs of society who together, collectively, form the majority – or the 99%, if you will.
