Running hot in our Underground Knowledge discussion group on Goodreads.com  is a video-taped interview with Syrian-Australian blogger Maram Susli, who goes by Mimi Al Laham, or “Syrian Girl”. In it, she  discusses who might be behind the bizarre new staged  ISIS beheading video and why a group known for its barbarity would need to fake executions at all. Her video, which has gone viral on YouTube, can be viewed at https://www.goodreads.com/videos/91200-syrian-girl-who-s-behind-the-weird-staged-isis-beheading-videos

She has been labelled a pro-Bashar al-Assad mouthpiece and a Kim Kardashian wannabe

Syrian Girl speaks out on those “staged” ISIS beheadings.

An October 21 report on the Daily Mail’s MailOnline  news site introduces Syrian Girl as “the internet sensation” and describes her as “a Kim Kardashian wannabe who fearlessly posts her views on ISIS, al-Assad, the US and the conflict that is destroying her homeland”.

The same report reads, in part, as follows: “Ms Susli says she speaks out on social media because she is dismayed by watching her birth country being destroyed. She is critical of Syrian rebels, ISIS and the United States. She wants to see Syria’s ‘army strong’ and its ‘borders solid’.

“ ‘People are dying, and I have a duty as a human being and as someone of Syrian origin to expose the truth about why,’ Ms Susli said.

“ ‘A duty to give a voice to those Syrians who have not been heard, who have rejected the instability caused by the US support of the extremist rebels…’ ”

The report continues, “Ms Susli is currently studying a postgraduate degree in Australia after completing a science degree with a double major in biophysics and chemistry.

“But she dedicates a large amount of time to blogging about her country of origin, which she has visited many times while living in Australia over the past two decades.

“ ‘Politics has been my passion even before the war in Syria, so it’s logical that when war began in the country of my birth, which I visit often and where my extend family reside, I’d be even more passionate,’ she said”.

Our freedom of speech philosophy and no-rules policy appeal to fellow Undergrounders (members of our Underground Knowledge discussion group on the international literary site Goodreads.com) if the group’s burgeoning membership is any guideline: membership has just topped 1200, making it one of the fastest growing groups of its kind – if not the fastest – on the popular Amazon-owned book site.

James Morcan discusses Underground Knowledge on Boston's Philosophic Perspectives Radio Show

The Underground Knowledge group has been designed to encourage debates about important and underreported issues of our era. All you need is an enquiring mind, an interest in the world we live in and a desire to learn or share ‘underground knowledge.’

The inspiration for the group was our first non-fiction book The Orphan Conspiracies – a book one Amazon reviewer describes as “More conspiracy fact than fiction.” Another reviewer says, “This book may scare the pants off you!” and yet another says, “Every American should read this book.”

The Orphan Conspiracies: 29 Conspiracy Theories from The Orphan Trilogy

Book the inspiration for our group.

Some of the group’s discussion threads contain literally hundreds of posts by members – a reflection no doubt of the timely and often controversial topics covered in these threads. Examples of those topics are listed in earlier blogs.

Also mighty popular are our ongoing polls. For example, our latest poll, which closes October 16 PDT, asks: What is your opinion of whistleblowers like Edward Snowden, Julian Assange & Bradley Manning who leak classified intelligence information to the public concerning their own government’s criminal activities?

Whistleblowers Manning, Assange and Snowden.

Interim poll results show two thirds of respondents consider them heroes. To view the interim results and comments, or better still to have YOUR say, go to: https://www.goodreads.com/poll/list/142309-underground-knowledge—a-discussion-group?type=group

Examples of earlier polls include:

Do you believe World Trade Center 7 (aka Building 7), which no plane hit on 9/11, collapsed solely due to fires as per the official story?

Do you believe genius-level intelligence is primarily the result of nature (genes) or nurture (education, environment, parenting etc)?

Do you believe Jesus Christ was a real historical person?

Do you believe Robert (Bobby) F. Kennedy (RFK) was solely killed by the “lone gunman” Sirhan Sirhan?

Do you believe the likes of Bill Gates & Warren Buffett are the richest people in the world as per the annual Forbes Rich Lists?

Do you believe classified mind control technologies are being used by governments on innocent citizens?

Do you believe MARILYN MONROE committed SUICIDE or was MURDERED?

Do you believe A.I. (artificial intelligence) will ever be more advanced/sophisticated than human intelligence?

Do you believe time travel is possible?

Do you believe the Pyramids of Giza were constructed solely to be burial chambers (tombs) for the pharaohs as Egyptologists tell us?

Do you……and the list goes on… Check it out via the above  link.

There seems to be more than enough evidence to support the claim that at least some scientific breakthroughs are suppressed.

We explored this in our first non-fiction book The Orphan Conspiracies, and again in our recently published MEDICAL INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX: The $ickness Industry, Big Pharma and Suppressed Cures.

A relevant excerpt from Medical Industrial Complex follows:

We cite a January 2014 New York Times  article reporting that America’s National Security Agency (NSA) uses secret technology to remotely input and alter data on computers worldwide – even when targeted PC’s or laptops are not connected to the Internet. We point out that this suppressed technology, which uses radio frequencies to spy on computers, only came to the public’s attention due to leaked NSA documents from former agency contractor-turned whistleblower Edward Snowden.

This begs the question: Is it a regular occurrence for governments, intelligence agencies and the military to withhold scientific breakthroughs from the public?

If so, how many other suppressed inventions exist in the world’s ironclad vaults of power?

Replace the word inventions with cures and you will see what we, in our roundabout way, are driving at.

There have been numerous reports of scientific inventions that never saw the light of day even though they were perfected and ready to go on the market. Rumors of these radical inventions date back to the post-Industrial Revolution period in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, and have persisted right up to and including the present day.

Unfortunately, it appears this also happens within modern medicine where cures for various illnesses mysteriously vanish or are quashed by the medical establishment.

The basic concept or theory we explore in this chapter is that there are already cures for many so-called incurable illnesses. However, they are often unpatentable (aka unprofitable or unmonitizable) and therefore blocked by multinational drug companies.

In other instances, these cures are sometimes not suppressed for financial reasons but rather for intellectual ones: such cures contradict medical academia and these cures, which are often radical and seem non-scientific, “do not compute” with what official science says. But a term one American banker-turned author coined seems relevant in this regard: “Scientific fact, until next revision”. Meaning what seems to contradict science today, may make sense tomorrow, for science is perpetually evolving.

This suppression theory supports the assertion that Big Pharma needs sick people to prosper. Patients, not healthy people, are their customers. If everybody was cured of a particular illness or disease, pharmaceutical companies would lose 100% of their revenue on the products they sell for that ailment.

What all this means is because modern medicine is so heavily intertwined with the financial profits culture, it’s a sickness industry more than it is a health industry.

There are numerous examples we could cite to support this. One of the most disturbing examples came to our attention in the form of a CTV News report dated November 29, 2012. Headed ‘Cure for cancer found in Canada – Pharmaceutical companies turn their backs,’ the televised report highlights the successful treatment of rats and mice given human cancers in a Canadian laboratory.

The drug used was DCA – described by the researchers involved as “an unpatentable old drug” used to treat rare inherited diseases. Those same researchers were very excited, and confident, about its potential for curing cancer in humans and were keen to secure the interest of pharmaceutical companies to take the drug to the next step.

DCA’s affordability – described as costing “just pennies a dose” – no doubt accounted for some of the researchers’ enthusiasm. Here, at last, was a potential cancer cure that wouldn’t cost patients the earth.

Now here’s the rub. Because this cheap, unpatentable, old drug “doesn’t fit the business plans” of the pharmaceutical companies, they ain’t interested in progressing it. In other words, Big Pharma can see no profit in developing and marketing a pennies-a-dose drug – even if it has the likely potential of saving many, many lives.

At the time of proofing this book, the CTV report on this disgusting state of affairs is still on YouTube and is well worth viewing.

Of course, there are two sides to every story, and, in the interests of balance, we must relay one YouTube viewer’s comment on this report.

He (name withheld) says: “Even if it was true that Big Pharma doesn’t want a cure for cancer, you don’t need Big Pharma to get a drug out there. There are plenty of non-profit and research institutions that have the money to fund this and have no incentive for a profit. This video is too one-sided to make a judgement…If you dig deeper into this you’ll find that clinical trials into humans were conducted in 2009 and did not yield the same results (as) in rats. The attack on Big Pharma is normally done by people who have no knowledge of the pharma industry and all the costs associated to create one drug”.

Naïve or fair comment? You decide.

Personally, we’d be guided by former pharmacist Denis Toovey’s comment in the foreword to Medical Industrial Complex: “There is no hiding the huge influence drug companies have on the practice of medicine which has stalled finding real cures.” That from a professional who spent 40 years in the pharmaceutical industry…

The Catcher in the Rye Enigma: J.D. Salinger's Mind Control Triggering Device or a Coincidental Literary Obsession of Criminals? (The Underground Knowledge Series Book 4)

In our book The Catcher in the Rye Enigma, we observe that J.D. Salinger’s bestselling novel The Catcher in the Rye is now ‘required reading’ in most high school English courses in the US and throughout much of the Western world. This despite the fact it has been banned by various schools and libraries, and criticized by numerous parent and teacher groups as being immoral literature due to its use of profanity and themes of excessive rebellion and alienation.

The Catcher in the Rye

Salinger’s classic novel.

We explore this in the following excerpt from (our book) The Catcher in the Rye Enigma:

The fact that The Catcher in the Rye  is now required reading has inspired some conspiracy theorists – most probably of the Tinfoil Hat variety – to envisage a grand conspiracy in which mind control is being conducted on a mass scale in order to corrupt, pacify or otherwise control today’s youth.

Reclusive Guns N’ Roses lead singer Axl Rose took part in an online chat on December 12, 2008 on the GNR fan community site. When a fan asked him about a song he’d written called Catcher N’ The Rye  on GNR’s new album Chinese Democracy, Axl’s responses seem to indicate he believed the theory that the novel can incite violent acts when read by certain individuals.

“For me,” he said, “the song is inspired by what’s referred to sometimes as Holden Caulfield Syndrome …I feel there’s a possibility that how the writing is structured with the thinking of the main character could somehow re-program, for lack of a better word, some who may be a bit more vulnerable, with a skewed way of thinking.”

Axl Rose-1.jpg

Axl Rose…believed novel can incite violence.

Axl also mentioned he felt that the novel is “utter garbage” and said he agrees “wholeheartedly that it should be discontinued as required reading in schools”.

You don’t need to be a financial wizard to know that corruption is alive and well inside the global finance sector. On a daily basis we are bombarded with mainstream news headlines confirming exactly that – the corruption rumors swirling about the European Union (EU) and the escalating Greek financial crisis being a case in point.

We explore these themes in our new release book INTERNATIONAL BANKSTER$: The Global Banking Elite Exposed and the Case for Restructuring Capitalism.

An excerpt from the book follows:

Banks and bankers, of course, are at the very apex of the finance sector. So let’s take a closer look at banking in the 21st Century.

Surprisingly, some of the most perceptive insights into today’s banking system and the problems that pervade it are to be found within alternative media. It turns out there’s a number of former bankers and money men (and women) to be found within the ranks of the citizen journos, or lay journalists, who ‘man’ these alternative media sites.

One of the best summaries of corruption of the banking system, in our opinion, is to be found on the appropriately named TheAlternativeMedia.com  site. On that site, one Mitchell Cagle writes:

“Banks for decades have been the central source of where we save, manage and deposit our money. Many people do not know what actually goes on when your money is deposited. The bank uses your money to invest then gives you a fraction of what they make in interest. Sometimes that interest can actually end up being nothing due to the “fees” they actually charge that are excessive and fraudulent in most cases.

“Lately, banks have increased these fees some 54% resulting in profits of 34 billion dollars per year. It becomes increasing(ly) difficult to balance a checkbook anymore because of these “hidden fees”. If you have a savings account, you are also being ripped off with monthly fees just for having the privilege”.

Cagle lists the following as “examples of how we are being ‘feed’ to death by the banks:

“Banks engage in abusive practices that maximize overdraft fee revenue. The most common triggers of these fees are small debit card transactions that could easily be denied for NO fee.

“They charge exorbitant fees that bear NO relationship to the cost of covering an overdraft.

“They charge excessive numbers of overdraft fees over the course of a day, month or year.

“Automatically enrol customers in the most expensive overdraft protection possible.

“Monthly fees from nine dollars to thirty dollars for checking and savings accounts that used to be FREE.

“They push customers to use debit cards because it cost them LESS to process but GOUGE retailers and customers because of the monopoly setup of the payment system”.

But of course hidden fees are minor tools, or strategies, compared to other tricks of the trade employed by banksters.

A sea of never-ending debt

For a more ‘qualified’ insight into the money system, money markets and banking, you can’t go past Ellen Brown’s bestseller Web of Debt. An attorney, Ms Brown is founder of America’s Public Banking Institute. She’s also a harsh critic of what she describes as the money system.

Web of Debt’s blurb reads:

“Our money system is not what we have been led to believe. The creation of money has been “privatized,” or taken over by private money lenders. Thomas Jefferson called them ‘bold and bankrupt adventurers just pretending to have money.’ Except for coins, all of our money is now created as loans advanced by private banking institutions — including the privately-owned Federal Reserve. Banks create the principal but not the interest to service their loans. To find the interest, new loans must continually be taken out, expanding the money supply, inflating prices — and robbing you of the value of your money.

“Not only is virtually the entire money supply created privately by banks, but a mere handful of very big banks is responsible for a massive investment scheme known as ‘derivatives,’ which now tallies in at hundreds of trillions of dollars. The banking system has been contrived so that these big banks always get bailed out by the taxpayers from their risky ventures, but the scheme has reached its mathematical limits. There isn’t enough money in the entire global economy to bail out the banks from a massive derivatives default today”.

Even if Ms Brown is only partially right in that assessment, it still means there is a massive monetary predicament looming.

“The bankers and financiers are badly overplaying their hands, again, and people are starting to catch on to the scam. Real wealth is tangible things produced with tangible effort. Loans made out of thin-air ‘money’ require no effort and are entirely ephemeral. But if those loans are used to acquire real ownership of real assets, then something has been exchanged for nothing and one party is getting screwed.” –Chris Martenson

How many plants are being unnecessarily synthesized and sold over the counter as wonder drugs to an unsuspecting public? We ask that question in our book MEDICAL INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX: The $ickness Industry, Big Pharma and Suppressed Cures.

MEDICAL INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX: The $ickness Industry, Big Pharma and Suppressed Cures (The Underground Knowledge Series Book 3)

The basis of many a drug or medicine, of course, is a plant or plants. These plants range from herbs, flowers, roots and leaves to common and uncommon weeds.

According to one (unconfirmed) source, there are 120 or more important drugs currently in use that have been sourced from plants. These drugs include the likes of morphine, camphor, papain, hesperidin, quinine, codein, ephedrine, strychnine and thymol.

The plant chemical quinine is another example of a plant that has been synthesized by lab technicians; the resulting chemical drug is used to treat malaria – just as the natural extract from the bark of the tree it originally came from was once used.

The following excerpt from Medical Industrial Complex addresses this very issue:

Remember, the pharmaceutical companies cannot patent anything that occurs organically in nature. So there’s no incentive for them to harvest, develop and sell herbs, leaves or any other plants. Far more profitable to synthesize or copy those plants, patent the resulting drugs and medicines, and then sell them.

What if those patented drugs and medicines are less effective in the treatment of diseases and illnesses than the actual plants they are derived from? Think of the cost-savings – not to mention the health benefits to be gained by ingesting or applying natural substances as opposed to toxic chemicals.

Has that occurred to anyone else?

It occurred to us during our research for this book when someone very close to us – let’s call him Mr X – sought treatment for the very common solar keratosis, or sunspots, at a local skin clinic. Mr X was attracted by the clinic’s advertised use of a new drug, Picato, which is an extract of milkweed – also known as radium weed and cancer weed.

Said to work considerably faster than other topical medications, dosing is completed in just two to three days (compared to two to four weeks for competitive products). As you can imagine, the skin’s reaction to such a powerful medication is quite dramatic. Users suffer drastic reddening of the skin and often painful blisters.

Turns out the Picato treatment is very expensive – and quite toxic. Like the better known and more widely used Efudex treatment (for sunspots), Picato is potentially harmful to the liver and therefore the recommended dosage per treatment is wisely limited.

The logic put forward by the skin specialists concerned is the alternative (to Picato or Efudex) could be fatal. They refer of course to deadly melanoma or skin cancer.

That logic’s hard to argue with. But Mr X wondered why he couldn’t simply use milkweed to treat his sunspots. So he did some research.

Turns out milkweed in its natural form is very effective for treating sunspots and potential skin cancers. Users simply break the stem of the plant and apply the milky sap to the skin.

Of course, plants can be toxic, too, and milkweed’s no exception – depending on the variety. For starters, like Picato and Efudex, it must not come into contact with the eyes.

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) warns that “Milkweed may be toxic when taken internally.” On its website, USDA reports that Native Americans used milkweed as a food source, and several tribes used the sap to remove warts, for ringworm, and for bee stings.

However, it was a Daily Mail article that clinched it for Mr X. Dated January 26, 2011, the article quotes scientists who claimed that the sap from milkweed “can ‘kill’ certain types of cancer cells” and that “it works on non-melanoma skin cancers”.

The article states, “For the first time a team of scientists in Australia has carried out a clinical study of sap from Euphorbia peplus (milkweed), which is related to Euphorbia plants grown in gardens in the UK…The study of 36 patients with a total of 48 non-melanoma lesions” found that “After only one month 41 of 48 cancers had completely gone”.

Mr X now treats his sunspots with milkweed, which he grows in his garden. Last we heard he’s still alive and well!

That said, the Mr X case study was hardly scientific and therefore should not be used as a blueprint for managing the treatment of sunspots should you have any. As always, our advice must be: Consult your doctor first.

However, it does illustrate the point we were trying to make – that we suspect there are plants, vitamins (à la Vitamin C) and minerals out there that are safer, more effective and a whole heap cheaper than the toxic, synthesized alternatives being developed and marketed by the pharmaceutical companies.

If we are even half right then we’d suggest that would mean natural medicine and alternative treatments are worth exploring, right?

As membership of our fledgling ‘Underground Knowledge’ discussion group on the popular literary site Goodreads.com  approaches 1200 – in fact it may have hit that milestone by the time you read this – one discussion thread is currently running hot. It’s simply titled: What is terrorism and who gets to define the term?

The discussion thread began with the following post from a member:

As a western woman, the definition of terrorism is something that fascinates me. I want to know if there is any valid, objective definition of terrorism.

I find it interesting that in media the choice of words is very selective. When someone here in (the) West barges into school and kills hundreds of innocent children, the news often comes out as ‘gunman massacred children at primary school’. I guess most would agree that this is a terrorist act but it is never labeled as an act of terrorism. So does it mean, an individual’s action cannot be deemed as such and for it to qualify the action must be carried out by an organised group?

Hate group is another (term) which I find very confusing. Are hate groups, terrorist groups too? KKK is often labeled as a hate group but in fact their actions were the same as any terrorist group.

If you have to ask someone to name a few terrorist groups you would like get ISIS/ISIL, Al Qaeda and Taliban as the answer. Most people wouldn’t even think of our North American grown KKK as a bunch of terrorists. Does it mean that for terrorism to qualify, a group has to be an alien agency threatening western democracies?

With the likes of Al Qaeda and more recently ISIS dominating world headlines, it’s not surprising our members (Undergrounders) are vocal on the subject. At least two and possibly more of our members are former intelligence agents. (In one case, the gentleman concerned is a Britt who worked for British intelligence and, on occasion, for the CIA). They have contributed to this discussion thread.

Member’s selected/abridged comments (abridged) follow:

When suicide bombers go in to a military congregation and blow up soldiers AND inadvertently kill nearby civilians, this is called “terrorism”. However, when the West uses drone strikes where terrorists have been reported to be, and inadvertently wipe out an entire hospital or school or village, this is called “collateral damage” or a “an unfortunate accident for which the White House sincerely apologizes for”.

Most ‘terrorist’ attacks are usually organised by the government or agencies as an excuse to change laws or go to war.

The lines blur with terms like terrorists and it often depends who is telling the story as to who the terrorists are… I would say the superpower nations are the biggest terrorists, especially if you do a body count of all their carnage around the planet in the last few decades.

When everything is leaked and Wikileaked, I do wonder who the history books will eventually record as being the biggest terrorists of the 21st Century.

Let’s make no mistake, the spoils of The War on Terror are most likely the biggest spoils of any war in history…

There is an old saying, “One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter.”…In 1946, the Jewish Irgun blew up the King David Hotel in Jerusalem killing some 90 people. That was one of dozens of similar Irgun attacks. One of the Irgun leaders, Menachem Begin later became prime minister of Israel… It seems terrorism, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.

Given that over 1,000,000 Muslims (and counting) have died at the hands of Western aggression in the West’s stated attempt to reduce terrorism, I wonder what the history books of the future will call the War on Terror?

So we can all agree Islamic terrorism is very real. Denying its existence would be foolish, not to mention ignoring the fact that the moderate sectors of the Muslim world (who despite what Western media implies, is the VAST majority of Islamic population) are constantly mentioning their desire for terrorism to end (albeit without more phony wars). So to be clear, I stand for peace and the betterment of all peoples whatever nationality or race. But in saying all that, assessing whether terrorism is the big global threat to civilization is really a case of the devil being in the detail…The fine print is where many of the arguments that pass for fact in our shoddy 21st Century media (e.g. terrorists are everywhere, there’s not enough wealth in the world, Third World countries have limited resources etc, etc) often do not stack up under close inspection.

Our next book, BANKRUPTING THE THIRD WORLD: How the Global Elite Drown Poor Nations in a Sea of Debt, seriously questions whether the World Bank and other big international aid organizations help the world’s poor.

At the outset, we ask: What if much of the aid extended to impoverished nations is not charitable, but selfish, with serious strings attached – strings designed to fleece vulnerable nations?

We also ask: What if the international financial aid organizations are all gigantic scams designed to subjugate Third World countries?

The answers may surprise.

Of all the statistics we uncovered during our research, one in particular has stayed in our minds throughout the writing process:

21,000 people die every day (one person every four seconds) from starvation.

That’s a sickening figure considering our research has also shown there is more than enough wealth in the world for everyone to at least receive the basic necessities of life.

Even more sickening when you consider there is more than enough wealth in the Third World for it to organically sustain itself.

We hope this book will contribute in some small way to the masses pressuring world leaders to eradicate the extreme poverty that sees millions of our fellow Human Beings – men, women and children – dying unnecessarily every year.

In the latest poll in our ‘Underground Knowledge’ group on Goodreads.com, we ask members: What is your opinion of whistleblowers like Edward Snowden, Julian Assange and Bradley Manning who leak classified intelligence information to the public concerning their own government’s criminal activities?

Whistleblowers Manning, Assange and Snowden

Interim results show that 68% of poll respondents consider the whistleblowers are heroes; only 10% consider them traitors; some 16% consider them a combination of both traitors and heroes; and 6% are undecided.

Respondents’ comments make for interesting reading. Some of those comments (abridged) follow:

They are both. On one hand they are heroes because they exposed governmental misconduct at personal risk. On the other they are traitors because as government employees they violated an oath and perhaps put some people at risk. What if the military personnel who man the nuclear weapons were given the same freedom to violate their duties? Snowden should be lauded and then put in prison.

These people do the public and their countries a great service which puts themselves in jeopardy!…The three listed above are the ones that stand out most in peoples minds, BUT, there are many others including news reporters who “have accidents” Mike Hastings and Martin Burns being two i know of personally.

The facts could have been shared with Congressmen who write the laws, and could have affected changes these men sought, without compromising the security of this nation or the safety of our people. The Americans are nothing less than traitors and should be shot. Assange has just been exploiting any exposed secrets, to the detriment of any and all nations or people involved.

Risking everything – their jobs/careers, good relationships with colleagues, friends and families, not to mention their own lives! – is something extremely heroic, some might even say foolish. In my opinion though, it shows an extreme level of unrelenting devotion and unbending commitment to one’s principles and morals…

Is it right to rendition and torture people who are innocent, is it right to drone strike civilian targets, is it right to arm train and fund terrorism, is it right to ship major amounts of narcotics into the USA?

NONE OF THAT IS RIGHT!!!

Praise to those who expose it!!

.

Yes, it is the duty of every serviceman or woman to report wrongdoings, and even disobey illegal orders. However, all of the activities divulged were legal under the authorities granted, or they were dealt with using the legal system. Reports must be made through the chain of command, or barring that to the Inspectors General. Neither of those options was chosen.

Contractors hired for wetwork? Yes, very wrong, but not illegal during the Bush/Cheney administrations, because Cheney’s cronies were involved.

.

I don’t think that’s correct, K……. At least some of Assange’s leaks exposed highly illegal activities, for example the footage of helicopter pilots shooting Iraqis for sport including civilians. There were numerous other similar leaks, I’m pretty sure.

.

You can imprison one Manning or Assange, or kill another, but the spirit of whistleblowers is alive and well now and it’s the beginning of the end for the global elite. You cannot kill or imprison them all and what we are seeing so far is literally the first wave of whistleblowers from the military and CIA etc.

INTERNATIONAL BANKSTER$: The Global Banking Elite Exposed and the Case for Restructuring Capitalism, book five in our Underground Knowledge Series, identifies who is responsible for the gigantic financial gulf that separates the top 1% of the population from the common people, or the 99%.

The financial overlords illuminated in INTERNATIONAL BANKSTER$  include the powerbrokers at Wall Street banks, European central banks, the US Federal Reserve and the Vatican Bank, as well as elite banking dynasties such as the Rothschild and Rockefeller families.

This new release book discloses the real reasons for the series of recent financial crises. These reasons include: the secret world of “black money” and Old World money where most assets and income remain undeclared; the central banking system and the true nature of the Federal Reserve; the less-than-holy financial activities of the Vatican; the IMF and World Bank’s sometimes less-than-charitable dealings with the Third World; the austerity measures currently being inflicted on vulnerable nations like Greece; as well as the theory that the world’s money supply is essentially being created out of thin air.

Beyond identifying the problems and exposing corruption, INTERNATIONAL BANKSTER$  proposes ideas for creating a fairer economic system. These ideas include: publicly owned banks; utilizing certain aspects of Islamic banking which may be compatible with Western banking systems; exploring whether capitalism and socialism can actually work in tandem; arguing the case to maintain but restructure capitalism; considering the merits of a universal income; and predicting how cybermoney, or cryptocurrencies, will influence the world economy in the coming years.

Though the subjects covered may be monetary issues, that’s on the surface only. In reality, they are humanitarian issues. As the authors state in the book’s opening pages, “Starving the masses of financial opportunities, sinking them in debt and cheating them out of various services their taxes should pay for, are among the greatest sins those in power can commit.”

As governments around the world continue to bail out privately-owned banking institutions ahead of rescuing the millions of citizens facing bankruptcy and eviction from their homes, INTERNATIONAL BANKSTER$  is a timely read.
