“The vast majority of curricula that are taught in medical schools in this country (USA) were put together by organizations that were founded by, or are funded by, pharmaceutical companies,” according to natural health expert T.C. Hale.
That provocative quote kicks off a chapter headed ‘Kickbacks for doctors’ in our book MEDICAL INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX: The $ickness Industry, Big Pharma and Suppressed Cures.
In the same chapter we quote Cicero, who said, “In nothing do men more nearly approach the gods than in giving health to men.” Certainly, the medical profession, in its purest form, is a noble one. And doctors are clearly at the apex of the profession.
We have no wish to denigrate doctors, or to denigrate anyone who devotes their life to helping fellow man. However, it would be remiss of us not to bring your attention to some, shall we say, gaps in the system – gaps that allow doctors to abuse their position if they are so inclined.
And we stress that those who do (abuse their position) are very much in the minority. That said, the number of doctors who have brought their profession into disrepute, worldwide, is staggeringly high. Certainly far too many for so noble a profession, we would argue.
In Medical Industrial Complex, we list proven and shocking examples of kickbacks to doctors.
One study found that doctors in the US receiving payments from pharma companies were twice as likely to prescribe their drugs.
We quote a detailed 61-page report compiled by the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), which starts out with the comment that “While rent-seeking behavior may not be surprising generally, that financial conflicts of interest could influence physicians’ advice might be less expected. For one, doctors are highly paid, with most falling in the top 5% of the income distribution within the US”.
The UCSD report continues, “When drug companies have financial relationships with physicians, medical decisions may be influenced by pecuniary motives not directly related to patient health…”
The report’s conclusion is that “Using data from twelve drug companies, more than 330,000 physicians and nearly one billion prescriptions, we find that when a drug company pays a doctor he is more likely to prescribe that company’s drug.”
A US Federal Government report, detailing 4.4 million payments made to doctors and teaching hospitals by pharmaceutical and medical device companies sheds more light on the vexing kickbacks issue…
We conclude the chapter by saying, ‘Hopefully, this insight into doctors’ kickbacks from the likes of Big Pharma and the medical equipment suppliers hasn’t destroyed your faith in your family doctor. We stress that those who succumb to the temptations on offer are in the minority and so, statistically speaking, we’d like to think there’s a very small chance your doctor is one of the culprits.’

In 1998, one of us (James) took a guided tour through the Pentagon, the US Department of Defense headquarters in Arlington County, Virginia. It was quite an eye-opener.
The tour guide was a young military staffer and the other 50 or so tour party members included a chubby, garrulous boy of about eight or nine who spoke with a southern drawl and was constantly eating. Between mouthfuls of food, the boy interrupted the tour guide’s running commentary in a loud voice, asking, “What about the levels below the Pentagon, sir?”
The tour guide politely but firmly replied, “Son, there are no levels below the Pentagon, what you see is all there is.”
That reply seemed to satisfy the boy until about five minutes later he repeated the question and received a near identical response. This same question-same answer pattern continued for the remainder of the tour, visibly raising the young staffer’s aggravation levels every time he was interrupted and forced to answer the persistent boy.
In all likelihood the boy had watched TV shows or movies referencing the conspiracy theory which insists there are miles of tunnels, subterranean levels and underground bunkers below the Pentagon, suggesting what’s seen above ground is merely the tip of the iceberg.
Pure fantasy? Imagine for a moment a reality where all the technologies that futurists have predicted have already been invented and are currently being used by a privileged few.
There have been numerous reports of scientific inventions that never saw the light of day even though they were perfected and ready to go on the market. Rumors of these radical inventions date back to the post-Industrial Revolution period in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, and have persisted right up to and including the present day.
As the title of book one in our controversial Underground Knowledge Series suggests, GENIUS INTELLIGENCE: Secret Techniques and Technologies to Increase IQ goes where mainstream education and academics seldom venture.
We, the authors, remind readers the brain’s potential is the human potential, and we pose the question: What if there are faster and easier ways to learn and study than the modi operandi currently being taught in mainstream education systems?

To this day many believe J.D. Salinger’s bestselling novel The Catcher in the Rye was part of the CIA’s extensive mind control program known as MK-Ultra, and that while assassins, or future assassins, were being brainwashed they were forced to read the book over and over until it was embedded in their minds.
In The Catcher in the Rye Enigma, Book 4 of our Underground Knowledge Series, we examine the allegation that Salinger implanted mind control triggers into his novel – triggers that enabled CIA handlers to activate Manchurian Candidates for planned assassinations.
The very idea that assassination codes are buried deep in Salinger’s book is one of the oldest conspiracy theories around. However, given what we’ve unearthed in our research for this book and indeed the entirety of The Underground Knowledge Series, we believe some of the theories swirling about Salinger’s classic deserve another look.

“In 1977, Carl Bernstein published an exposé of a CIA program known as Operation Mockingbird, a covert program involving, according to Bernstein, “more than 400 American journalists who in the past 25 years have secretly carried out assignments for the Central Intelligence Agency.” Bernstein found that in “many instances” CIA documents revealed that “journalists were engaged to perform tasks for the CIA with the consent of the managements of America’s leading news organizations.”
Operation Mockingbird was a secret campaign by the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to influence media. Begun in the 1950s, it was initially organized by Cord Meyer and Allen W. Dulles, it was later led by Frank Wisner after Dulles became the head of the CIA.
The organization recruited leading American journalists into a network to help present the CIA’s views, and funded some student and cultural organizations, and magazines as fronts. As it developed, it also worked to influence foreign media and political campaigns, in addition to activities by other operating units of the CIA.
