Interim results of the latest poll in our Underground Knowledge discussion group on Goodreads.com  show that nearly two thirds of respondents believe prostitution should be legalized.

In response to the question Should prostitution be legalized?  65% say YES / 27% say NO / 8% are UNSURE.

A random selection of poll respondents’ comments follows:

In order to make it taxable? “Cleaner” & safer environment? Show that we have all have the power to do what we please with our bodies? Will this in any way minimize forced prostitution?

I believe that Prostitution should be legal as long as the person involved is of legal age and it can be ascertained that s/he is entering into the deal without coercion or force (if that can ever be proven). It is already legal in Nevada and the reports seem to be good.

Legalizing prostitution and recognizing it as a legitimate practice would create a safer environment than making it illegal, just like history shows about alcohol and drugs. It isn’t directly about power, either, but freedom.

I favor legalizing of prostitution for various reasons, the most important being the conditions surrounding the sex workers.Forced or not, they’re subject to extreme exploitation which can be reduced to a great extent by legalization.

Being a libertarian, I think victimless crimes should be decriminalized. You cannot legislate morality. However, even after legalization, trafficking and procurement (pimping) of women occurs.

When you make a victimless crime, you create a criminal (and a victim of the system.)

I feel the legalizing it will make it safer and cleaner, It will not stop the issue of human trafficking anymore than legalizing Marijuana has stopped people from selling it. The Prostitution has been around for ever and has shown to be successful and safe in many countries. Criminalizing it just ties up resources that can be better used else where.

By making prostitution legal, avoids making sex workers victims, and frees up law enforcement to focus on human trafficking in general and slavery in particular.

By making these things which people have done since the beginning of time illegal it puts power in the hands of criminals, and makes criminals of victims.

Interim results in the latest poll in our Underground Knowledge discussion group on Goodreads.com  reveals nearly two thirds of poll respondents claim to have experienced ESP or Extra Sensory Perception (e.g. Remote Viewing, Near Death Experiences, precognition, out-of-body experiences, telepathy, seeing auras etc).

To date, in response to the question Have you ever experienced ESP? poll results show 61% say YES; some 30% say NO; and 9% are UNSURE.

Poll respondents’ comments make for interesting reading. Here’s a sample selection of those comments:

Damn, I just realized this poll began on Friday the 13th 🙂

I have an interesting theory…Leading neuroscience theorists now believe that consciousness lies at a subatomic quantum level. If so, it would make the brain the greatest biological quantum field generator ever created. At the quantum level, time does not exist. Whatever has, is or will happen already theoretically has. If your consciousness can tap into the universe on a quantum level, theoretically we all have the capability to create our own “Spidey Senses”.

Some theorists even believe that we remember forward, so in effect we are living in a world that has already occurred and we constantly are in a state of catching up. I think that this is a great theory and it would make sense if you view it in terms of ESP, or clairvoyance. “Future Memory”.

Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda is one of the best books I’ve read on this subject. Interestingly, this was Steve Jobs’ favorite book. At Jobs’ funeral, all attendees were given a copy of the book and it was the only book he ever downloaded onto his iPad…

Out of body experience twice, and auras frequently. Auras are common in people who have seizures, they can before a seizure and also have a feeling of deja vu. You basically know it is coming before it happens.

Lots of fascinating experiences mentioned here that i wish i could experience out of curiosity. I still think that before looking outward into the universe, we have to rule out that it’s not solely caused within our own neural network.

I was clinically dead for a short period on Oct. 19, 1996. It was enough to lead me to make major changes in my life. Death of this body is NOT the end of our existence.

Two near death experiences and one I was actually dead on way into operating theatre!

We are pleased to announce the launch of THE UNDERGROUND KNOWLEDGE SERIES I-V (Genius Intelligence / Antigravity Propulsion / Medical Industrial Complex / The Catcher in the Rye Enigma / International Banksters) — available exclusively on Amazon.

Underground series I-V 3D cover

Box set comprises five books in one.

Discover what has been hidden from you…

THE UNDERGROUND KNOWLEDGE SERIES I-V  comprises the following books:

GENIUS INTELLIGENCE: Secret Techniques and Technologies to Increase IQ

This book (with foreword by leading scientist Dr. Takaaki Musha) shatters the myth that geniuses are born not developed. It reveals how most instances of above-the-ordinary intelligences are acquired thru superior cognitive techniques or brain enhancing technologies. Drawing on the latest findings in neuroscience, it lists dozens of practical methods to increase IQ and speed-learn any subject. Among the discoveries shared are brain waves common to geniuses and various ways to induce those brain waves.

ANTIGRAVITY PROPULSION: Human or Alien Technologies?

A far-reaching exploration into the UFO phenomenon (with foreword by advanced interstellar propulsion systems expert Grant Hayman and afterword by leading scientist Dr. Takaaki Musha) that covers all possible scenarios and discounts nothing. It includes never-before-mentioned accounts of popular UFO topics like Area 51, Roswell and alien abduction claims, and lesser known subjects such as Nazi and Japanese antigravity experiments.

MEDICAL INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX: The $ickness Industry, Big Pharma and Suppressed Cures

An explosive book (with afterword by retired pharmacist Denis Toovey) that explores the contention Big Pharma and other participants in the healthcare sector put profits ahead of patients’ wellbeing and dollars ahead of lives. This no-holds barred critique of mainstream medicine urges readers to stop giving away complete responsibility to doctors and other healthcare providers, and to take more responsibility for their own health.

THE CATCHER IN THE RYE ENIGMA: J.D. Salinger’s Mind Control Triggering Device or a Coincidental Literary Obsession of Criminals?

This book unearths the mysteries surrounding arguably the most controversial book of all time – J.D. Salinger’s 1951 novel The Catcher in the Rye. It examines the theory that, in league with the CIA, coded messages were implanted in that novel, inspiring some of the most infamous crimes of the 20th Century…including the murder of John Lennon and the attempted assassination of President Reagan.

INTERNATIONAL BANKSTER$: The Global Banking Elite Exposed and the Case for Restructuring Capitalism

This book identifies who is responsible for the gigantic financial gulf that separates the top 1% of the population from the common people, or the 99%. The financial overlords named and shamed include the powerbrokers at Wall Street banks, European central banks, the US Federal Reserve and the Vatican Bank, as well as elite banking dynasties. The authors also propose ideas for creating a fairer economic system.

Interim results in the latest poll in our Underground Knowledge discussion group on Goodreads.com  reveals there’s considerable uncertainty over the safety of child immunizations and vaccines.

In response to the question Do you believe child immunizations/vaccines are for the most part extremely safe as per official statements from mainstream medicine and Big Pharma? well over half our poll respondents to date say they don’t believe that or they’re unsure.

Interim poll results show 41% say Yes; some 38% say No; and 21% say Unsure.

Fellow ‘Undergrounders’ (group members) include doctors, nurses (and former nurses), lab technicians, pharmacists, scientists, a neurologist and other medical professionals – and a number of those members are contributing to the poll. Some of the comments make for interesting reading.

Here’s what the aforementioned American neurologist (name withheld) has to say on the topic:

With the recent talk of vaccinations highlighted during the Republican Presidential debates, it definitely highlights the concerns that linger among us parents about having our children vaccinated. I must preface this post (before getting to my point by discussing a recent article in the neurological literature) by stating that I am a neurologist with 5 children and all were fully vaccinated. That said, I must admit that the vaccinations were spaced apart further than that which was recommended by the pediatrician.

The only reason my wife and I were adamant about altering the dosing regimen was that we routinely witnessed an alteration in our childrens’ mental status after they received a barrage of shots. I would like to say that flu-like symptoms or low-grade fevers precipitated the changes. However, there were no signs or symptoms of any physical reaction to the vaccines. What did change on occasion was their personalities, sleep habits and at times cognition. It was scary to witness, but we were relieved when it resolved. As we began to split up the vaccination shots for our younger children, these neurological sided effects abated.

The reason why I discuss my own experience is that the medical system ardently insists that autism is not related to vaccinations. However, a recent medical journal I read does raise the awareness about the possible neurological sequela that can occur after one of these shots. A July 1 article in Science Translational Medicine discussed the link between Pandemrix, a vaccine used during the H1N1 flu pandemic, and 1,300 reported new cases of narcolepsy which occurred after receiving the shot. The article described how antibodies that formed as a result of the vaccine crossed the blood-brain barrier and attacked the sleep regulation portion of the brain. As a result, these people were left with narcolepsy. The process is called molecular mimicry. It has already been documented as the cause of different neurological diseases that result from the body’s immunological response to certain cancers, infections or exposures.

If a vaccine can cause narcolepsy, it definitely calls into question whether vaccines could also initiate other neurological problems such as autism. Though the question remains, the overall benefit of vaccines to society as a whole does outweigh the risks. My only recommendation to the medical establishment is to reconsider both the dose of the vaccine and the timing they are given, to reduce any of these possible side effects.

A lot of people believe there are secret underground cities around the world if the results of the latest poll in our Underground Knowledge group on the literary site Goodreads.com  are anything to go by.

In response to the question Do you believe there are secret/classified underground cities around the world? some 61% of poll respondents say Yes; only 18% say No; and the balance are unsure.

A selection of respondents’ comments follow:

I don’t see why not… Look at some of the underground facilities and cities of bygone eras we have found, usually by accident. Such a thing is not unbelievable with modern technology…

I put unsure about cities; but there are bunkers and bases used by politicians, military and civilians for safety in case of war or major disasters.

Definitely and I think the President is very aware of this fact. Hmm…maybe there are some bunkers in area 51.

From Area 51 there are underground roads leading across the USA with underground petrol/diesel stations, regular sleeping hostels, medical facilities.

Bunkers and bases YES. From places like North Korea to Washington D.C. Paris, Rome and many others there exist extensive underground facilities. However, they’re all a hodgepodge of antiquated catacombs, private bunkers, or smaller constructions…Cities? NO. No government is competent enough to hide any population larger than a few thousand, more medium company or village sized.

I believe there are underground cities that are secret/classified because they are the most essential places to operate in military purposes or other government related purposes.

Not just underground but under the sea as well.

Most likely, the ultimate truth relating to Area 51, and underground cities (if they exist), are at a classification level “above the President”. Am pretty sure JFK was the last president who knew anything about these types of projects.

Two thirds of respondents in our latest Underground Knowledge group poll in Goodreads.com believe whistleblowers Edward Snowden, Julian Assange & Bradley Manning are heroes, not traitors.

Whistleblowers Manning, Assange and Snowden…heroes or traitors?

In response to the question What is your opinion of whistleblowers like Edward Snowden, Julian Assange & Bradley Manning who leak classified intelligence information to the public concerning their own government’s criminal activities? 67% say they’re heroes; only 7% believe they’re traitors; some 21% say they’re a mixture of heroes and traitors; and 5% are undecided. (Interim results).

A random sample of poll respondents’ comments follows:

Speak of the devil, Edward Snowden joined Twitter today: https://twitter.com/Snowden or @Snowden In less that 24 hrs he had 1,000,000 followers. While Snowden himself only follows 1 Twitter account: the NSA!

Count me as one of those followers (of @Snowden). I told him I think he is a hero. Now to wait for the armed, jackbooted whom ever to kick in my door and take me away.

Snowden’s latest tweet was pretty funny: “Meanwhile, a thousand people at Fort Meade just opened Twitter.” So he’s implying 1,000 NSA employees immediately joined twitter simply to monitor his tweets. Ha!

These guys did not go to the Inspector General, they dumped everything into the public sector, and one ran straight to the most dangerous enemy civilization still has: Putin. If Snowden had pumped & dumped and stayed in Waikiki, or flown directly to LA or NYC then it would have been poorly executed whistleblowing. By taking the trash directly to enemies of the State, and frankly enemies to civilization itself, they became traitors. Plain and simple.

… the real TRAITORS to the US Govt, the Cheney’s, Bush, and yes Obama, Rumsfeld, Clinton, McCain and others!!

“Being called a traitor by Dick Cheney is the highest honor you can give to an American.” ―Edward Snowden

On every level of government, the People are responsible for keeping all laws Constitutional and for removing from office officials who commit acts against the law or the Constitution. We are each responsible and should give hero’s welcome to all whistle blowers.

Snowden should still be shot for treason. Cheney should have something worse done to him: siezure of all his assets and those of his cronies under the Haliburton umbrella corporation for restitution to their victims worldwide. …And then prison for the rest of his miserable life.

How Snowden and Manning chose to act was poorly at best, and completely against the good of this nation or the security of our citizens. Like the fact that they ‘raged against the machine’? Great, but the choices they made were clearly wrong, and their stated goals do not match the actions taken; traitorous.

Fixating on minor misdemeanours of “whistleblowers-traitors” against a traitorous intelligence industry is like criticizing the jail warden who pulls the switch that kills mass murderers on death row.

Key reason the mass public is by and large getting behind the likes of Snowden, Manning and Assange is that the public don’t give a flying f^#% about the military’s rules and regulations, because they know the Military Industrial Complex doesn’t give a flying f$^# about the public anymore.

Running hot in our Underground Knowledge discussion group on Goodreads.com  is a video-taped interview with Syrian-Australian blogger Maram Susli, who goes by Mimi Al Laham, or “Syrian Girl”. In it, she  discusses who might be behind the bizarre new staged  ISIS beheading video and why a group known for its barbarity would need to fake executions at all. Her video, which has gone viral on YouTube, can be viewed at https://www.goodreads.com/videos/91200-syrian-girl-who-s-behind-the-weird-staged-isis-beheading-videos

She has been labelled a pro-Bashar al-Assad mouthpiece and a Kim Kardashian wannabe

Syrian Girl speaks out on those “staged” ISIS beheadings.

An October 21 report on the Daily Mail’s MailOnline  news site introduces Syrian Girl as “the internet sensation” and describes her as “a Kim Kardashian wannabe who fearlessly posts her views on ISIS, al-Assad, the US and the conflict that is destroying her homeland”.

The same report reads, in part, as follows: “Ms Susli says she speaks out on social media because she is dismayed by watching her birth country being destroyed. She is critical of Syrian rebels, ISIS and the United States. She wants to see Syria’s ‘army strong’ and its ‘borders solid’.

“ ‘People are dying, and I have a duty as a human being and as someone of Syrian origin to expose the truth about why,’ Ms Susli said.

“ ‘A duty to give a voice to those Syrians who have not been heard, who have rejected the instability caused by the US support of the extremist rebels…’ ”

The report continues, “Ms Susli is currently studying a postgraduate degree in Australia after completing a science degree with a double major in biophysics and chemistry.

“But she dedicates a large amount of time to blogging about her country of origin, which she has visited many times while living in Australia over the past two decades.

“ ‘Politics has been my passion even before the war in Syria, so it’s logical that when war began in the country of my birth, which I visit often and where my extend family reside, I’d be even more passionate,’ she said”.

Our freedom of speech philosophy and no-rules policy appeal to fellow Undergrounders (members of our Underground Knowledge discussion group on the international literary site Goodreads.com) if the group’s burgeoning membership is any guideline: membership has just topped 1200, making it one of the fastest growing groups of its kind – if not the fastest – on the popular Amazon-owned book site.

James Morcan discusses Underground Knowledge on Boston's Philosophic Perspectives Radio Show

The Underground Knowledge group has been designed to encourage debates about important and underreported issues of our era. All you need is an enquiring mind, an interest in the world we live in and a desire to learn or share ‘underground knowledge.’

The inspiration for the group was our first non-fiction book The Orphan Conspiracies – a book one Amazon reviewer describes as “More conspiracy fact than fiction.” Another reviewer says, “This book may scare the pants off you!” and yet another says, “Every American should read this book.”

The Orphan Conspiracies: 29 Conspiracy Theories from The Orphan Trilogy

Book the inspiration for our group.

Some of the group’s discussion threads contain literally hundreds of posts by members – a reflection no doubt of the timely and often controversial topics covered in these threads. Examples of those topics are listed in earlier blogs.

Also mighty popular are our ongoing polls. For example, our latest poll, which closes October 16 PDT, asks: What is your opinion of whistleblowers like Edward Snowden, Julian Assange & Bradley Manning who leak classified intelligence information to the public concerning their own government’s criminal activities?

Whistleblowers Manning, Assange and Snowden.

Interim poll results show two thirds of respondents consider them heroes. To view the interim results and comments, or better still to have YOUR say, go to: https://www.goodreads.com/poll/list/142309-underground-knowledge—a-discussion-group?type=group

Examples of earlier polls include:

Do you believe World Trade Center 7 (aka Building 7), which no plane hit on 9/11, collapsed solely due to fires as per the official story?

Do you believe genius-level intelligence is primarily the result of nature (genes) or nurture (education, environment, parenting etc)?

Do you believe Jesus Christ was a real historical person?

Do you believe Robert (Bobby) F. Kennedy (RFK) was solely killed by the “lone gunman” Sirhan Sirhan?

Do you believe the likes of Bill Gates & Warren Buffett are the richest people in the world as per the annual Forbes Rich Lists?

Do you believe classified mind control technologies are being used by governments on innocent citizens?

Do you believe MARILYN MONROE committed SUICIDE or was MURDERED?

Do you believe A.I. (artificial intelligence) will ever be more advanced/sophisticated than human intelligence?

Do you believe time travel is possible?

Do you believe the Pyramids of Giza were constructed solely to be burial chambers (tombs) for the pharaohs as Egyptologists tell us?

Do you……and the list goes on… Check it out via the above  link.

As membership of our fledgling ‘Underground Knowledge’ discussion group on the popular literary site Goodreads.com  approaches 1200 – in fact it may have hit that milestone by the time you read this – one discussion thread is currently running hot. It’s simply titled: What is terrorism and who gets to define the term?

The discussion thread began with the following post from a member:

As a western woman, the definition of terrorism is something that fascinates me. I want to know if there is any valid, objective definition of terrorism.

I find it interesting that in media the choice of words is very selective. When someone here in (the) West barges into school and kills hundreds of innocent children, the news often comes out as ‘gunman massacred children at primary school’. I guess most would agree that this is a terrorist act but it is never labeled as an act of terrorism. So does it mean, an individual’s action cannot be deemed as such and for it to qualify the action must be carried out by an organised group?

Hate group is another (term) which I find very confusing. Are hate groups, terrorist groups too? KKK is often labeled as a hate group but in fact their actions were the same as any terrorist group.

If you have to ask someone to name a few terrorist groups you would like get ISIS/ISIL, Al Qaeda and Taliban as the answer. Most people wouldn’t even think of our North American grown KKK as a bunch of terrorists. Does it mean that for terrorism to qualify, a group has to be an alien agency threatening western democracies?

With the likes of Al Qaeda and more recently ISIS dominating world headlines, it’s not surprising our members (Undergrounders) are vocal on the subject. At least two and possibly more of our members are former intelligence agents. (In one case, the gentleman concerned is a Britt who worked for British intelligence and, on occasion, for the CIA). They have contributed to this discussion thread.

Member’s selected/abridged comments (abridged) follow:

When suicide bombers go in to a military congregation and blow up soldiers AND inadvertently kill nearby civilians, this is called “terrorism”. However, when the West uses drone strikes where terrorists have been reported to be, and inadvertently wipe out an entire hospital or school or village, this is called “collateral damage” or a “an unfortunate accident for which the White House sincerely apologizes for”.

Most ‘terrorist’ attacks are usually organised by the government or agencies as an excuse to change laws or go to war.

The lines blur with terms like terrorists and it often depends who is telling the story as to who the terrorists are… I would say the superpower nations are the biggest terrorists, especially if you do a body count of all their carnage around the planet in the last few decades.

When everything is leaked and Wikileaked, I do wonder who the history books will eventually record as being the biggest terrorists of the 21st Century.

Let’s make no mistake, the spoils of The War on Terror are most likely the biggest spoils of any war in history…

There is an old saying, “One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter.”…In 1946, the Jewish Irgun blew up the King David Hotel in Jerusalem killing some 90 people. That was one of dozens of similar Irgun attacks. One of the Irgun leaders, Menachem Begin later became prime minister of Israel… It seems terrorism, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.

Given that over 1,000,000 Muslims (and counting) have died at the hands of Western aggression in the West’s stated attempt to reduce terrorism, I wonder what the history books of the future will call the War on Terror?

So we can all agree Islamic terrorism is very real. Denying its existence would be foolish, not to mention ignoring the fact that the moderate sectors of the Muslim world (who despite what Western media implies, is the VAST majority of Islamic population) are constantly mentioning their desire for terrorism to end (albeit without more phony wars). So to be clear, I stand for peace and the betterment of all peoples whatever nationality or race. But in saying all that, assessing whether terrorism is the big global threat to civilization is really a case of the devil being in the detail…The fine print is where many of the arguments that pass for fact in our shoddy 21st Century media (e.g. terrorists are everywhere, there’s not enough wealth in the world, Third World countries have limited resources etc, etc) often do not stack up under close inspection.
