Amazon reviewer Lynelle Clark describes our coming-of-age spy thriller, The Orphan Factory (The Orphan Trilogy, #2), as “a wonderful continuous of book one” in her 5-star review just posted.

In her review, Lynelle says The Orphan Factory has a ‘well developed plot line with crafty skilled twists to keep you at the edge of your seat”.

Here’s Lynelle’s review for The Orphan Factory:

In Book 2 many questions are answered. Here we are better acquainted with Nine, Seventeen and Tommy Kentridge, the main characters of Book 1 and we learn more about the Omega agency and their quest to a New World Order with the help of 23 created Orphans.

Each uniquely formed for their skills and abilities to become great field operatives or assassins. Clinical and greedy the orphans were formed and prepared for the task. They were seen as science projects and investments and the normal childhood pains were not allowed.

From drugs, to sleep learning, to speed reading (I would have loved to have this ability myself LOL), to fighting martial arts and resuming the identities of others with even greater skill, these children were equipped with one thing in mind and that was to further the members with their dreams of power and more money they could count. Using every thing the authorities have to their disposal.

Nine, our main character rebelled and cleverly escaped. Searching for his independence and freedom. His journey takes us over the states borders to California where he meet up with a girl he was infatuated with. But Helen did not accept him for who he was and at the end this youngster learned early on not to trust any
one.

Meeting interesting characters during this time period of two weeks the story was well written and entertaining. The plans he made to get to California told you why Nine was the best, already a (threat) at the age of twelve.

I loved the way that the authors used the current news of the day to strengthen the plot line, making it more believable and interesting, creating more conspiracy theories. Bill Clinton’s rise to the presidency and how the Agency use it to further their cause. Using the Jonestown Cult story to bring down an ex-operative. All perfectly timed within the story.

The hatred and jealousy that consumed Seventeen from the start and leads her to almost succeed in killing Nine.

I must admit that I became fond of Nine, his strong character superbly developed so that you could be part of his world and his experiences.

Drawn into the secretive world of DNA faltering, power and greed and the extend people in authority would go to acquire even more. Excellent read for all who loves a good spy thriller and I can recommend it for Young Adults as well.

Well developed plot line with crafty skilled twists to keep you at the edge of your seat.

Our controversial conspiracy thriller series The Orphan Trilogy (The Ninth Orphan/ The Orphan Factory / The Orphan Uprising) is now in Amazon bestseller lists in the USA, Canada, UK, Germany and France.

Predictably, the most popular novel in the series is book one, The Ninth Orphan. It seems many readers are buying book one first before investing in the discounted box set.

Meanwhile, The Orphan Trilogy remains #3 on Goodreads’ Conspiracy Fiction list behind the Dan Brown novels Angels & Demons and The Da Vinci Code, which are currently #1 and #2 respectively. The next three places on that list are filled by books one, two and three in The Orphan Trilogy.

The passing of Margaret Thatcher has predictably sparked an outpouring of mixed emotions around the globe. Thatcher’s supporters have lauded her as Britain’s greatest leader while her enemies in one infamous London neighborhood have gone as far as throwing a street party to celebrate her death.

Love her or hate her, milestones in the tumultuous career of Britain’s first female Prime Minister will forever be etched in history.

One little publicized fact about Thatcher is she was the member of a very exclusive, very mysterious group. An invitation-only group. Its name: The Bilderberg Group.

The Bilderberg Group has some big names in its elite membership. Famous Bilderbergers include Bill Clinton, David Rockefeller, Prince Charles, Bill Gates, Ben Bernanke, Google Chairman Eric Schmidt and Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes who have all attended meetings of the organization.

Other notable US political figures to have officially attended Bilderberg meetings include current Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, former Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger, Alexander Haig and Colin Powell, former President Gerald Ford as well as Texas Governor and 2012 Presidential also-ran Rick Perry.

On the international roster, Bilderbergers have included leaders of almost every Western nation, Swiss bankers, EU Commissioners and Royalty. Among past and present attendees are current Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, former British Prime Ministers Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, the King of Spain Juan Carlos I and the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Phillip, as well as Thatcher.

Beyond these confirmed Bilderbergers, there’s also a raft of other high profile figures suspected to have participated in conferences – according to the conspiracy theorists at least. For example, shortly before becoming the US President, Barack Obama was rumored to have met with key Bilderberg members at or near their conference venue in Chantilly, Virginia, in 2008.

Other rumored attendees include Rupert Murdoch, George Bush, Sr. and George W. Bush. Hillary Clinton also denies having attended any Bilderberg meetings despite reported sightings of her at the locations of the 2006 (Toronto) and 2008 (Virginia) conferences.

Bill Clinton, however, was an official attendee of the 1991 Bilderberg conference in Germany while still a little known Governor of Arkansas; the following year he won the US Presidential Election.

Conspiracy theorists have long said the Bilderberg Group undermines democracy and influences everything from nations’ political leaders to the venue for the next war. Is there any truth behind this supposed political conspiracy? Well, that depends on who you ask. Certainly, it’s easy to see why conspiracy theories plague the Bilderberg Group.

Bilderberg takes its name from a hotel of the same name in the Netherlands where the first meeting took place in 1954. Ever since, every Bilderberg conference has received almost complete media blackouts despite being held at prominent five-star resorts.

Critics point out this dearth of media coverage is highly unusual given the veritable who’s who of world leaders and movers-and-shakers in attendance each year.

The Bilderberg Group features prominently in our conspiracy thriller, The Ninth Orphan (The Orphan Trilogy, #1). Okay, it’s a work of fiction, but it does raise some interesting questions about a secretive, invitation-only organization whose annual conferences for the most part remain mysteriously off the record. Questions that demand answers.

Still sceptical? Here’s some interesting bedtime reading…

When Omega Agency operatives kidnap the boy, Nine embarks on a frantic rescue mission that takes him to hell and back…

High in the hills above the bay, Nine had started running as soon as the men began chasing after Francis. By the time they’d bundled the boy and their inflatable into the floatplane, Nine was already down at sea level and sprinting toward the waterfront. His lungs were burning and his legs felt like lead, but he ignored that. All he could think of was Francis.

Nine’s mission to find and rescue Francis takes him from the Marquesas Islands to nearby Tahiti…

From Tahiti, the ninth-born orphan travels to his birthplace, Chicago…

From Chicago, the former Omega operative flies to Switzerland then crosses the border into Germany’s Black Forest…

From Germany, the ninth orphan’s desperate search takes him to remote Thule Air Base, in Greenland…

From Greenland, Nine travels to Zaire and then the Congo, in deepest Africa.

Reviewers are giving our recently released kindle box set, The Orphan Trilogy (The Ninth Orphan / The Orphan Factory / The Orphan Uprising), high praise indeed.

In the latest 5-star review published on Amazon today, US reviewer Linda Townsend describes the trilogy as “highly addictive”. Here’s her full review…

5 of 5 stars false Bottomline: Awesome set of books… thrills galore… highly addictive and recommended.

I have reviewed each book in this trilogy. Each book was unbelievably better than the one before … They were all excellent.
The trilogy is the story of Nine, one of 23 orphans, who have been bred and trained by Omega, an international clandestine organization, to be elite operatives from birth for Omega’s nefarious new world order purposes.
The Morcans have a unique way of writing that makes the reader feel as though they are right there as the suspense builds and the action occurs. There are multiple locales thru-out the series… all obviously extensively researched. My heart went out to Nine and many of the other characters who were just pawns in Omega’s master scheme.
When I started reading this series, I was leery as this was not the genre I normally reach for when looking for something to read. However, now, after reading Fiji: a Novel and the three books in their Orphan Trilogy, any book by the Morcans is now a must-read for me.
Bottomline: Awesome set of books… thrills galore… highly addictive and recommended.
Books one, two and three in The Orphan Trilogy can be purchased individually on Amazon – and the kindle box set (3 books in 1) can also be purchased on Amazon at this link:http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BGGM05U/
